Macro Informative Youth Agency (MIYA) is an organization aiming at bridging the information gap between businesses, institutions of higher learning and rural high schools. The main function of this organization is to bring information and opportunities to young people in rural areas of South Africa. It was founded in 2009 by young graduates who felt a pain of digital divide during their high school attendance. The organisation has a significant experience in the reality of the gap between rural high schools and institutions of higher learning in South Africa. We currently registered as non-profit organisation in South Africa with NPO registration number: 099-449 NPO.

The fundamental notion of the organization is to transmit key elements of career and educational information in rural areas efficiently and effectively. Since its conception, it has reached more than 5 000 students, learners and school leavers through its programmes and activities. Currently, it places approximately 70 students in universities, colleges and the work place annually.
